EX.I.T.E Camp 2010: FREE Summer Fun for Middle School Girls with Disabilities

The Simon Technology Center is gearing up for the eighth year of the EXploring Interests in Technology and Engineering (EX.I.T.E.) camp at PACER Center. The camp provides a variety of experiences in science, technology, engineering, and math for middle school girls with disabilities.
The 2010 camp will welcome scientists from Accenture, Best Buy, IBM, Medtronic, Target, and 3M to lead and provide materials for five days of dynamic camp activities and instruction. Previous camp activities have included making ice cream using liquid nitrogen, engineering shoes worthy of Cinderella’s foot, making slime, creating music videos and more! Girls will complete engaging experiments and make new friends.
